About the art

A short note on what each piece is made of, how it reaches you, and how to keep it well over the years.

Materials

Original Paintings
Each original painting is a one-of-a-kind creation that captures a moment of artistic intuition through direct touch. These works vary from vibrant, textured acrylics with visible brushstrokes to delicate watercolor washes and unique mixed-media monotypes hand-finished with pencils. Created on art paper, these pieces offer a tactile depth and lively presence that a print cannot replicate. All originals are supplied unframed, giving you the freedom to select a frame and matting that best complement your personal space.
Canvas prints
Each canvas features an original digital painting, completely hand-drawn stroke by stroke on an iPad using Procreate — with absolutely no AI generation involved. The artwork is printed on fine-art canvas and stretched over a solid wooden stretcher. The image wraps around the sides for a clean, gallery-ready edge — the work is supplied unframed and ready to hang as it is, with no glass or extra framing needed. Surfaces are matte and lightly textured, so the work reads as a painting rather than a poster.
Postcards
Postcards are printed on heavy linen-textured or smooth premium paper, in a few small formats. They are made to be handled — sent, pinned to a wall, or kept on a desk — and the paper holds ink without bleeding through.
Oracle deck — Gently to Yourself
A set of fifteen therapeutic story-cards, printed on sturdy card stock with a soft tactile finish. The deck is sized to sit comfortably in the hand and travel inside its box without bending.
Children's book — Sonya
The author's edition of Sonya is a 32-page illustrated story, printed on premium paper with a square format that suits both reading aloud and quiet looking.

Care & storage

  • Keep all artworks, especially original watercolors and acrylics, out of direct sunlight. Ultraviolet light is the primary cause of fading and can damage paper fibers over time.
  • For original works on paper, framing behind glass (ideally UV-protective) is highly recommended to protect against dust, humidity, and accidental touch. Use acid-free mats to prevent paper discoloration.
  • Maintain a stable room temperature and moderate humidity. Avoid hanging originals in bathrooms, kitchens with steam, or on walls directly behind radiators, as extreme fluctuations can cause paper to warp or acrylic paint to crack.
  • Gently dust the surface of canvas prints or framed works with a dry, soft cloth or a clean microfiber. Never spray water or cleaning products directly onto the artwork.
  • Always handle paper goods and originals with clean, dry hands; natural oils and lotions transfer easily and are difficult to remove. When moving framed pieces, hold them by the frame rather than touching the glass or painted surface.
  • If an artwork must be stored unframed, wrap it loosely in acid-free paper and keep it flat in a dry, dark place. Never place heavy objects on top of original paintings.
  • Handle paper goods with clean, dry hands; oils and lotions transfer easily and are difficult to remove later.
  • If something does happen — a scuff, a corner bend, or a spill — please get in touch before attempting any repair yourself.
